Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve night we headed over to Jeremy's parents, where the rest of the family joined us. It had been snowing for awhile but when we got there the flakes were really big. I didn't come prepared to play in the snow, so all the girls had were sweaters. We threw them on and ran outside to see the snow and get a quick picture. Then back inside where it was warm.

We had a lot of fun, especially with the White Elephant Gift exchange. This was something new that Marme' wanted to do and it was quite humorous! There were some very funny gifts like a Chia pet, a Bump-it and even a Snuggie that Marme' ended up with. This was really fun and I hope we can continue this for many more years!!

Then we had a birthday cake for Jesus and the grandkids got to blow out the candles.

After celebrating Jesus' birthday, we all had a special visitor...SANTA!! He brought presents for the grandkids. Madeline and Claire were scared, or should I say terrified. Camden and Jax were a little cautious, but gladly took their present and even had their picture made with him. Uncle David, Gigi and Carlyle wanted to get a picture, too.

After Santa left it was time to start the opening of all the presents. Here's a picture of Camden, Claire and Madeline in front of the mounds of gifts.

And here's a lot more of our Christmas Eve fun!

When we got home the girls immediately got the Reindeer Food and headed out to the front yard. They sprinkled it so fast and came running in because it was so COLD!!

Finally, after they were dressed in their pj's they picked out some cookies for Santa and helped to make his chocolate milk. Now it's off to bed!
