Christmas Day 2009

This Christmas all Camden and Claire had really asked for was a pink car. Now that could mean anything, but I knew it meant a car that would actually go by pushing a pedal. In other words, a Power Wheels. Well, Santa came through big for Camden and Claire and brought them a pink Cadillac Escalade power wheels. This thing is LOADED. It has chrome wheels, huge speakers in the back, cupholders and even has a working radio. Even I was hoping to get to try out this sweet ride. Christmas morning the girls were thrilled with their car. It was way too cold to take it for a test drive, so we had to open stockings and gifts first. In between opening gifts they would go over and check out their car over and over. You could tell that they were so excited. Santa did good!!

Camden and Claire as they walked in the living room and saw their car.

Time for stockings and gifts. Carlyle was still snoozing so I woke her up because we all wanted her to be a part of the fun. After all, it's her 1st Christmas!!

Checking out their stockings

A sleepy Carlyle

Daddy with his stocking

Camden and Claire got new rainboots and a matching raincoat

They also got a chest full of dress up clothes and accessories. They LOVE to dress up.

Happy Carlyle

Then we headed over to Nana and Papa's. Santa brought Camden and Claire a dollhouse.

Merry Christmas, Carlyle!

Opening their stockings

Uncle Jeremy got Camden and Claire robes that say "England Rugby" and Mommy got a hat that matches.

Nana and Papa got the girls Marshmallow Shooters so they had to go outside to try them out.

Finally, we're home and it's time to take the Caddy for a test drive. The girls are super excited!!

And they're off...

Claire decides she wants to try to drive. She had a lot of help from Daddy. Hopefully she will leave the driving up to Camden for ahwile.
