THINK PINK!!!!!!

Well, we went to Dallas today for an ultrasound and found out we were having a healthy baby girl!!! We are so excited to be having another baby, and to have a girl is just an added bonus. We would have loved a boy, too, but since we have everything for a girl, it's also just very convenient. It will be so fun to dress them all alike!! I can't wait!

Happy Easter!

This morning Jeremy and I woke up early in order to make sure we were awake before Camden. We didn't want to miss any photo opportunities as she discovered what the Easter Bunny had brought her. She finally decided to wake up and was so amazed at her basket of goodies. She went through each item carefully and really studied each one. Then, Claire woke up and it was her turn to wade through her basket. They both got some great stuff...a new pair of Crocs, sunglasses, a new outfit, a paint book, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and of course, lots of candy!! Then, it was time to get dressed for church. After we were ready, I took a few pics of the girls. Then, off to church in the pouring down rain! What an Easter morning. After church, we headed over to Nana and Papa's house where there was another Easter basket waiting for the girls (and Mommy and Daddy, too). They got some great stuff there, too!! Camden and Claire LOVE their Mickey and Daisy! Instead of an Easter egg hunt at Nana's, the girls had a scavenger hunt to find their prize. They went from room to room as I read each clue. Finally, they found their prize on the front porch. A bubble wand, new rainboots and an umbrella (how appropriate for the weather today). They immediately wanted to put their boots on and open their umbrella. What a great prize. Then, on to Marme' and Pops' house. Again...another Easter basket. More books, lots more candy and an Easter bunny! Then, it was time to hunt some eggs. The girls found LOTS and LOTS of eggs. They each even found a prize egg. Camden's prize was a velcro mitt and ball set, which she LOVES playing with. Claire's prize was a ball and bat. What a fun-filled day spent with family! We love you all and thank you for such a great day!!

Dying Easter Eggs

After naps today we colored Easter eggs. Camden has been so excited about this for a week now. She couldn't wait for me to get all the eggs together, cover the table, and mix the colors. She did a great job with the colors and even decided to accessorize the eggs with some stickers when they were dry. Claire had lots of fun, too. She really enjoyed coloring the eggs and used her stickers to accessorize the paper on the table.

Egg Hunt and Bunnies

This morning our church hosted a city-wide Easter egg hunt. The girls had a lot of fun, but there were TONS of people in attendance. Uncle Jeremy came with us to enjoy the fun! The girls were in two different age groups, so they hunted separately. Camden's group was first and she was so excited about it until they said go. She took two steps and then started crying. Not exactly sure why, but after lots of coaxing, she decided to start picking up some eggs. Therefore, we didn't gather quite as many as anticipated, but still came out with enough candy to satisfy her. Then, on to Claire's hunt. There were SO many people at this hunt so it was very overcrowded. Claire wasn't exactly sure about all the people so it took her awhile to get warmed up to the idea of hunting, too. But, she finally did fill her basket with some eggs, but enjoyed eating the candy so much more! What a fun morning. After the hunt, we went to Nana's house to decorate a bunny cake with Uncle Jeremy. The girls had a lot of fun adding M&M's and jelly beans to the bunny. What a great way to spend a Saturday!

Good Friday at Baylor

After we left Marme's house, we headed to Waco for the day. We made it in time for lunch at one of my favorite places, Ninfa's. Some of my college friends were meeting there for lunch today and I was hoping to get there before they left. Luckily, we made it in time and I was able to catch up a little with several good friends...and get to see their kids and little babies. They were all SO ADORABLE!!! What a treat it was to see them and meet their kiddos. I hope we can get together again very soon!! After lunch we just took our time doing whatever we wanted. We did a little shopping, went to see the bears--twice, and both times they were asleep in their little cave, went to the mall and found a playground for the kids to run off some energy. We also drove by my old schools...one that I student taught at and the other one where I had my first teaching job. Basically, we just enjoyed the city of Waco today! After a good dinner at Fuddruckers, we headed to the Baylor Baseball field to watch some baseball. After a couple of slow innings, the girls were getting restless. So, we walked over to a hill where fans were sitting watching the game and kids were running around. The girls thought that was pretty fun. They tried to roll down the side of the hill. We didn't stay for the entire game...it was getting cooler, darker and Camden and Claire were running on fumes (not to mention Mom and Dad). We had such a great family day and hope we can do it again very soon!

Cookies and cupcakes

This morning we headed to Marme's to decorate cookies and cupcakes for Easter. Camden and Claire had so much fun with all of the icing and decorations. Jax and Madeline were there, too! Madeline enjoyed more of the eating rather than the decorating. It was a lot of fun for all the cousins to be together.

School Easter egg hunts and parties

Today at school, Camden and Claire had an Easter egg hunt, along with Easter parties. You could tell that both girls had been practicing their egg hunting skills because they were running all over the place picking up eggs. I begged Camden to slow down because I was having to chase her in order to get pictures. I was having a hard time keeping up. They both had a great time and really enjoyed their parties, too. I can't wait to watch them at our second egg hunt on Saturday!
