Pumpkin Patch

Friday, Camden didn't have school so we decided to meet Madeline and Jax at the Pumpkin Patch. The kids had so much fun! We started off with a barrell train ride. I had to ride with Carlyle for obvious reasons and Crystal asked if Madeline could ride with us because she was afraid she wouldn't sit still. It was a tight squeeze but we made it through the bumpy ride and everyone had a great time. I tried to get some pictures of the girls, but Carlyle really wasn't in the mood to be smiling.

Camden and Claire wanted to see how tall they were and then we tried for a group shot of all the cousins. WOW! Talk about stressful! It's hard to get one kid to smile at the camera, but trying to get 5 kids to at least look at the camera was nearly impossible!

We found a hay maze, which occupied the kids for all of about 2 minutes. Then on to feeding the fish. Thank goodness for Aunt Crystal, who came prepared with quarters for the fish food! Next...dressing up the scarecrows. Since Camden and Claire love to dress up, this was right up their alley!

After all that fun, we wanted to take the hay ride down to the pumpkin patch. However, we realized that there was a daycare group waiting in line. We debated on whether to wait for the next one (which could be awhile) or just take the plunge and walk down by ourselves. We opted for the latter. Let's just say I got a workout! Pushing a stroller in thick grass/dirt there and back was lots of fun (there's a hint of sarcasm in there). Anyway, after we made it down there, found some pumpkins, took some pictures and headed back up, I was sweating!!!

After a few more pictures we paid for our pumpkins and headed home. Thanks Aunt Crystal, Madeline, Jax and Aunt Rachel for a fun morning! We had a great time!!!
