Today, my parents, Camden, Claire and I headed to Dallas for the day. Jeremy was going to join us, but, unfortunately, he had to umpire a baseball game. We had originally planned to go to the Arboretum to get some pics of the girls and see the pretty tulips while they were still in bloom, but the cooler and windier weather made us change our minds pretty quickly. So, the girls and I are going to do that this week sometime. Anyway, we started off the fun with a trip to the Dallas Farmers Market. They had some really pretty fruits and vegetables for some great prices. It would have been a lot more fun if it had not been so cold and windy, so our time at the Farmers Market was very short. Then we headed to the Dillard's Clearance Store in Arlington. We didn't find exactly what we were looking for, but was able to get my dad a great sports coat for a BARGAIN! Next, off to Grapevine Mills for some FUN for the girls. We ate at Rainforest Cafe', which the girls loved!! We even got a volcano for dessert (which we didn't request...it's a long story). But, it was VERY good!! Of course, we had to visit the Disney Store and take a couple of rides on the carousel. Before heading home, we went to the American Girl Store so Camden and Claire could have dessert with their babies. This was so much fun! They really enjoyed their cookies and milk! We had a great day in Big D but were all exhausted. The girls fell asleep in the car on the way home and didn't complain one bit about going to bed tonight. We really wore them out (and me too).
