Fair Time!

Friday night we met Nana and Papa at the fair. Papa planned ahead and got the girls arm bands to ride all the rides they wanted. Camden and Claire couldn't wait to get there. Carlyle was happy just to be going somewhere. She didn't know where we were going, but she was excited, too. When we got there, Papa took Carlyle on the carousel while the older girls rode another ride. Surprisingly, Carlyle was not thrilled about the ride and did NOT want any where near another ride the rest of the night. She liked watching Cam and Claire, but didn't want join to them. But, Camden and Claire definitely got their money's worth of riding rides. They had THE.BEST.TIME!!!

Happy girl enjoying watching all the people and seeing all the lights!

When my brother and I were little, my parents would take us to the fair every year. They always had ponies that we would ride. Ever since Camden was born and we started taking her to the fair, they haven't had the ponies, which made me sad. But, this year they had them and I'm so glad they got to enjoy the rides. It's so fun to let your kids do things that you grew up doing. Such fun memories!!!

Papa bought Carlyle some cotton candy and thought she might like it. However, just like her sisters, she didn't care for it. I don't think it's so much the taste, just the texture and the way it dissolves the instant it hits your tongue. Oh well, mommy got to finish it off and I enjoyed every bite!
Thank you Papa for such a fun evening! We all had a great time and look forward to the fair every year!
