Today Camden had a soccer game. We found out pretty quickly that soccer was not her thing. She goes to practice and participates maybe half the time. And at games, she will play maybe 3 or 4 rotations, which is probably half of what she could be playing. But, I wasn't going to push her...if she doesn't want to play, she doesn't have to. Well, today was the team's 4th game (Camden's 3rd game b/c we didn't go last week). She surprised us all. She played the entire game with energy and enthusiasm. We couldn't believe it. She was chasing after the ball and actually kicking it today...a lot! Maybe I gave up on our soccer player too soon. What a FUN game!
