Carlyle is 7 months old today. She is at such a fun age! She's still not sitting up, but I think we're getting close. I don't think she's in any hurry because she's got two big sisters that help her get whatever she wants. Carlyle loves her big sisters and her daddy and lights up when she sees all three of them! She has been rolling alot more these last couple of weeks and is becoming more mobile by scooting. There have been a few times that I have gone to get her out of bed and she has done a complete 180 degree turn and is at the opposite end of the bed. She has started eating puffs and is doing really well drinking from a sippy cup. I gave her a Mum Mum (baby rice cake) tonight and she wasn't really sure what to do with it. She ate about half but seemed to like the fact that it was bigger and she could hold on to it. Carlyle is sure growing up very quickly. I can't wait to see what new milestones she achieves this month!

A visit to the zoo
Today we met some friends from school at the zoo. Weatherwise, it was a perfect day to go. However, I didn't even think about schools being there for field trips. When we pulled in, I promise I saw 10 school buses and the main parking lot was full. I have never had to park in the additional parking...EVER! And we got there at 10am. I can't even imagine what it was like after lunch!! There were kids, teachers, and parents EVERYWHERE!!! I constantly had my eye on my kids so they wouldn't get lost. It was kind of frustrating, but none of the kids seemed to care that it was a bit crowded. They all had so much fun! Thanks to Chaney, Jennifer, Jamie and all the kiddos for hanging out with us today. We'll have to do it again very soon!!!

Easter Sunday
Easter morning, I expected Camden and Claire to wake up early to see what the Easter bunny had left for them. However, I had to wake them up so that they would have time to check out their baskets before church. They were a little upset that I woke them up, but quickly remembered it was Easter and were eager to head to the living room. The Easter bunny sure was good to all three girls. They got jewelry, make-up, clothes, swimsuits, flip-flops, books, and of course, CANDY!
We tried for a picture of all three girls before church. This was as cute as it got...pretty good except for Carlyle's arms being stretched straight out. Oh well, at least they are all smiling.
After church, we headed to Marme' and Pops for lunch and an egg hunt with the cousins. All the kids had a great time.
Next, we went to Nana and Papa's where the girls had a scavenger hunt and a special prize at the end. Camden and Claire LOVED this and had the best time. They wanted to do it over and over! I think this is going to become a tradition at Nana and Papa's!
We ended the day at home by ordering pizza and relaxing. Carlyle took a bath in her new big girl bathtub and really enjoyed it! We put all three girls to bed, thinking we were going to have a quiet evening, only to be fooled. We spent the rest of the night cleaning up vomit, washing comforters, sheets, blankets and pillowcases, scrubbing the carpet, and giving Camden another bath. Yes, she got sick in her bed and it was DISGUSTING! I'll spare you all the details, but fortunately it only lasted until Monday morning. She is much better now and is wanting to eat all her Easter candy! What a way to end a holidy:)

Church Egg Hunt
This morning we headed to church for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Camden and Claire were very excited. They ate breakfast and got dressed without any opposition this morning. Carlyle was in a pretty good mood and I was looking forward to her first hunt, even though I knew she wasn't going to gather any eggs. It was just fun for her to be a part of the whole tradition. We got to the church and went to the designated area for 3-5 year olds and waited for them to say "GO". When they said it, Claire started to freak out, crying and not wanting to go gather any eggs. Jeremy came and got her and I think they collected 2 eggs. For some reason, I think she gets very shy around so many people. And, Camden went off to find eggs, but unfortunately she just wasn't as fast as some of the other kids. She only found about 5 eggs and was very upset about it. A sweet little girl, who had apparently been one of the kids who was rather quick, felt sorry for Camden and gave her about 5 eggs out of her basket. That made Mommy and Camden smile. Then it was off to watch Carlyle "hunt" eggs. Camden and Claire wanted to help her. So, after a few pictures, Camden and Claire helped Carlyle put a few in her basket. They knew that Carlyle's eggs would eventually end up in their baskets. Those girls are pretty smart!! We had such a fun morning and are looking forward to more family fun tomorrow with grandparents and cousins!

Today was a fun day. We spent the morning at Marme's, where we decorated Easter cookies with Jaxson and Madeline.
And this afternoon we were at Nana's, where we decorated a bunny cake. We had so much fun!
And, tonight after dinner we dyed Easter eggs with Daddy! Camden and Claire couldn't wait!!
