Valentine's Parties!!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Today all 3 girls had Valentiine's parties and I am so happy that I could be at all of them. We started off with Carlyle's class party. Pizza and cupcakes!! Yummy!

Then it was off to Camden and Claire's parties!! First up was Claire's ice cream sundae party. Carlyle sweet talked her way into getting some ice cream, too.

We finally took the rail off of Carlyle's crib to convert it to a toddler bed. Even though she turned 3 in September, I think she still would have been content sleeping in a crib. But, since she is pretty much potty trained, I decided that it might be easier for her to be able to get up on her own to go potty. However, I'm rethinking that decision when she comes to get in bed with us between 3am-4am about 4-5 mornings a week. Although she does usually go back to sleep fairly easily, I feel like I have a leech attached to me, therefore I don't sleep very well. I do enjoy cuddling with her, but sure wish 3am wasn't the time she chose to do that. Oh well, I guess I should just enjoy this phase because she's growing up way too fast!!

Fun with cousins!!

The weekend after New Years, my cousin from Arkansas and two of her kids drove down for a quick visit. We enjoyed hanging out with them so much and my girls had a blast with her girls! The last night they were here, all the girls had a big slumber party at my parents' house. Thanks to my parents for being such good sports. What fun memories!!! We loved spending time with Stephanie, Emma Grace and Mallory!! We hope to see you again very soon!!!

New Years Eve 2012

New Years Eve we all went over to Jake and Crystal's for dinner, games and fireworks! We all had a great time and enjoyed spending time together! Crystal had cute decorations, yummy cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries!! All the cousins enjoyed running around and being loud!!! Thanks to Jake and Crystal for such a fun night!! We had a blast!!

Christmas night we got home and the girls were so excited to play in the snow. It was dark, but we let them play for a little while because we didn't know if it would be around the next morning. And, fortunately, it was!! They had so much fun with snow ball fights and making snow angels!! What a great way to spend the day!!

Christmas Day 2012

Christmas morning we awoke to Carlyle yelling, "Mommy, come get me out of bed!". So, after Jeremy got her up we all got up and walked together to the playroom to see if Santa had come to visit. The girls were so excited to see their stockings filled and gifts out. Carlyle LOVED her castle! And Camden and Claire were so surprised that they Santa had brought them each a Kindle Fire. They weren't sure what to think, especially since they didn't ask Santa for them. I could tell Camden was a tad disappointed that she didn't get the bike she had been asking for. However, once they started playing on the Kindles, they quickly learned how much fun they were!

After we opened stockings and all our gifts, we went to Marme' and Pops' to open stockings. Then, we headed to Nana and Papa's to see if Santa made a delivery there. And yes he did!! Carlyle loved her LeapPad! She keeps calling it her Ipad!

Camden was so so excited about her new bike!!! She wants to ride it ALL THE TIME!!!

And Claire LOVED her golf clubs. Now she can golf with Camden and Daddy!!

After opening gifts, the girls headed outside to try out their new gifts. Nana and Papa got all the girls some new Barbies and a cool case to keep them all in. Carlyle decided to go on a walk while she pulled all the Barbies.

What a wonderful Christmas day!! We had such a great time spending time together and enjoying family!!
