Lindale's Homecoming was this past week and every year they select one boy and one girl from the Kindergarten class to be the Flower Girl and the Crown Bearer. At the Pep Rally, the kids hand roses to all the Homecoming Court and at the game the Flower Girl will hand the Queen a bouquet of roses and the Crown Bearer will carry the crown. Awhile back Claire was asked if she would be the Flower Girl and she as so excited!!! She would ask me every night if that was the weekend she was going to get to go on the field at the game. Finally, Friday came and we got up early to head to practice at the field. Claire and Elijah did great! After several hours at school, I picked Camden and Claire up early to go to the Pep Rally. Neither girl had ever had a mum before and they weren't really liking how they tug on your shirt and how they seemed to get in the way. But, I got Camden a mum because Elijah got one for Claire and I thought she might have wanted one. Guess I could have saved some money. Oh well...it makes for cute pics.

What a fun night for Claire and such an honor to be chosen. She had such a wonderful time being involved in the activities and getting to participate with the big kids. Thanks to all our family who came out to show support for our Claire Bear. We're so proud of you Claire...you did an awesome job!!!
