Pictures with the Pumpkins and Fall Festival

Well, we didn't make it to a pumpkin patch this year. But, there is a really nice pumpkin display that sets up every year in the mall parking lot. I have gone there several years to get pictures of the girls and they are always so nice. Since the girls were dressed in their pumpkin dresses on Sunday, I had planned to stop by the stand after church to get some pictures. So, we head that way and get to the mall to find that the stand was gone! I had just seen it a few days earlier. So, on to Plan B. I knew there was a church down the street that had a small pumpkin patch where you could buy pumpkins. Of course, it was 11:00am and they were in church. Noone was out there, but it was open. So, what do you think we did? We got the girls out and took a few pictures. I don't think we really did anything wrong, but I still felt like a rebel. I kept looking over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching. Ha! But, the girls did great and we were done in about 10 minutes.
Sunday afternoon our church had their annual Fall Festival. Crystal, Jake, Madeline and Ella joined us and the girls had so much fun! Camden went as a clown, Claire was a nurse, Carlyle was a pig and Madeline and Ella were Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf. So cute!

Celebrating Camden again!

This year, Camden decided that instead of a birthday party, she would like to invite two friends to go paint pottery and then go to lunch. Camden picked two sweet girls, Nixon and Sophia. We picked the girls up and headed to Tyler. The girls picked a piece of pottery to paint and then the fun began. I think we ended up using every single color of paint. Camden picked a puppy dog bank, Nixon picked a ceramic cell phone and Sophia got a cupcake bank. They all turned out so cute! After painting, it was time to head to Chick Fil A for lunch. We had a great time celebrating Camden and I am so glad her sweet friends could join us.

Happy Birthday Camden!

Camden turned 8 on October 2. Yes, I am aware that it's almost been a month and I am just now writing this post. Life is crazy!! Camden woke up on her birthday to a decorated door, however, by the look on her face she wasn't too impressed. When she saw her presents she seemed to get a little more excited! Barbies and more Barbies!!
When it's your birthday you get a special donut for breakfast!
And, after school we stopped by Brookshires to let the birthday girl pick out a special cupcake.
Happy birthday Camden! We love you so much and are so proud of the sweet young lady you are becoming. Your sisters are so blessed to have you as a role model and Dad and I are so blessed to have you as a daughter!
