This post is going to be long, so dont feel like you have to read it all. Just wanted to document Camden's 1st field day! This morning Claire, Carlyle and I headed up to school to watch Camden participate in field day. My dad wanted to come but had to work. Ironically, his job was in Lindale and when he got there, the man wasn't home. So, he surprised us and showed up to watch Camden. I'm so glad he was there to help out with Claire and Carlyle. I thought Carlyle would be fine in the stroller, and she might have been if Papa hadn't been there. But, she didn't want to ride and was ALL OVER THE PLACE! Thanks to my Dad for helping follow her around. Jeremy was able to get away from work for a little while to come watch, too. Camden had a great time and I loved getting to watch her have so much fun!

After snow cones, parents were allowed to take their kids home with them. Of course, Camden begged to go home. Leslie took Cullen and they invited us to join them at Cracker Barrel. Talk about chaos...two mommies, two 6 year olds, two 4 year olds and two 1 year olds! WOW!! It really was fun, though! There were times all we could do was just laugh. Three kids a piece...this is our life...and we love it!!

Claire and Grayson (our middle children, who are SO much alike)
I'm sad I didn't get a picture of the babies. They were both going on no nap and were pretty tired. As we were walking out of the restaurant we see tons of people in red, white and blue holding American flags. We found out that they were there to welcome home a soldier. There were some older ladies who "invited" us to stay and help and after we were handed flags, we felt it would be rude to leave. Not to mention, there were tons of people blocking our car, so there really was no way we were leaving. It was a neat experience for the kids and I hope it is something that they will remember. It was neat watching them stand, waving their flag alongside so many other people.
Cheering on as the soldier and his mom drive by.
Thanking the soldier for his service.
